On the login page, you need to firstly entry your email and password as just set up by you:
After which you will be met with the below screen, requiring you to enter the code displayed on-screen within the MFA app at the time you are accessing it:
Using your authenticator app
Google Authenticator
Once you have connected your account with your MFA app, you should see something like the below, subject to how many other (non-icc.on.opus2.com) accounts you have on the app, if any. The entries should remain on the app for that device and should not disappear without you actively removing it:
Each of these entries consists of 3 parts:
- The label - redacted in the above with purple/white boxes (this text is automated if the QR code was scanned and manually typed by the user if the account as tied to the app manually)
- The temporary 6-digit code to be used at the time you’re logging in
- A circle that “cycles” once every 30 seconds, representing the time left until the code for that MFA entry is renewed.
To delete an entry on Google authenticator, you need only swipe the relevant entry from right-to-left on their screen, and should then be asked to confirm its deletion.
Microsoft Authenticator
The main page of Microsoft’s Authenticator will be similar but not display the 6-digit code for each entry:
By selecting the entry, you will then be shown the code which cycles every 30 seconds:
To delete an entry on Microsoft Authenticator, you need to select the relevant entry, displaying the code, where you should find a cog in the top-right of their app – select this and then Remove account.
FreeOTP
The main page for this app is similar to Microsoft Authenticator’s, listing each entry and displaying the labels attached to each:
To view the code, you need only click on the relevant entry and it will reveal the code:
To delete an entry on FreeOTP, you need to select and hold on the relevant entry. This should, after a moment, bring up some new buttons along the top of the app, including a bin icon to remove the entry from the app.
