Tagging documents allows you to easily categorize them using predefined labels. You can add tags to the documents when uploading them.

To learn how to upload / submit documents, please refer to the dedicated materials on submitting documents

Once the documents are added to the ‘Upload documents’ dialog box, follow the steps below to add tags to them. Tags can be added to multiple documents at the same time. You can also add different tags to different documents in the same upload.

1. Select the documents to which tags are to be added by checking the boxes next to them.

2. Click on the Actions button.

3. From the drop-down, select the option Add tags.

4. The ‘Select tags’ dialog box displays all the available tags. Select the relevant tags using the tick boxes.

A document can be given multiple tags.
To view tags within a category, click on the chevron icon.

5. Click the Select button to confirm the selection.

6. The selected tags can be viewed from the ‘Tags’ column in the table.

TIP:
If multiple tags are applied to a document and you wish to view all of them, you can expand the ‘Tags’ column by clicking and dragging the column header until all tags are visible. Please note that there is a limit to how far the column can be expanded. If the tags exceed the available space in the expanded column, hover the mouse over the tags. A drop-down list will appear, displaying all the tags for that document.

Remove Tags from Documents (while uploading documents)

1. Select the documents from which the tags need to be removed.

2. From the Actions menu, select the option Clear tags.

3. All the tags applied to the selected documents will be removed.

Important

Once a document is submitted, it cannot be deleted or modified.
If you upload a document in error, please reach out to your case management.
